Not even going to comment on the ridiculousness of this,
But realistically, what is Carey Prices value to the Habs?
If Edmonton offered Bourgault and a pick for Price at 4-5 m retained , and took Koskinen back for the remainder of the season? Is that close in rational sense? Because I don't think Montreal will get much more than that.

I think holloway is off the table for the oilers you would have better luck with Bourgault.

From the oilers perspective the hard part is the $ amount with their salary cap situation as well as the amount of Long term contracts they have. I think a contract with term needs to be going back to MTL a Kassian or Barrie would be the most likely option yes i know MTL has no need for them great! with out it EDM cannot do this deal. MTL could flip barrie for some picks Kassian would be tougher to flip but not impossible for a team who needs some grit closer to the playoffs.

Ok alors je dirais aux Oilers de prendre leur mal en patience car personne ne va leur donner leur gardien numéro 1 pour rien en retour.

Thats essentially 2 1st rounders for an aging goalie with a bad contract

Exactly my point, although I'm not implying the added pick be a 1st. Maybe a 3rd with conditions to make it a 2nd based on performance. But my point is, that is the absolute MAX I'd be paying for Price. Even with retention. Just wanted a realistic view from the Habs side.

Je sais mais c'est le prix a payer pour faire les séries. Le vrai prix ce serait Bourgault et un choix de première ronde, mais rendu en mars a la date limite des transactions, les Oilers vont être désespéré et payer le prix.

Sans rancune. smirk

They don't need carey price's problems and they wont pay for such a liability of a contract.

Koskinen and Turris have negative value so you need to give a 1st to take them, therefore Holloway is not worth a 6m Carey Price

Edmonton needs two goalies (at least) to make it through this season. If you haven't noticed, Price isn't even playing, so even the trading of Koshkinen makes no sense for the Oilers at this time.
Price's contract may or may not make sense either. Why do Habs fans want to trade him with retention if he so good?

We realize ne isn't worth his contract maybe 7m

Wouldn't the Oilers by 10 times better off, signing a UFA goalie at 7m, and keeping Holloway and that first rounder?
The competition for Canadiens in any trade scenario for Price is upcoming UFAs, and the those goalies cap /term and ability to play,

This is such a bad take. Maybe if they had a year left on their deals. Turris is a 500K hit if buried in the minors. Koskinen is 4.5 yea but for like 4 more months.
