McDavid is not the problem. You can't win a McDavid trade anyhow.

Nope. Not trading Hagel and definitely aren't taking on bad contracts while also retaining salary, it would have to be one or the other. The first round pick is the only part of that deal that would interest them considering they're probably headed towards a real rebuild now that bonehead Bowman is finally gone.

I understand what you mean but Ottawa doesn't do (unless Melnyk smells all the money from getting McDavid and tells his puppet to pull the trigger)

Stutzle and Norris already hurts

I'm not the biggest Tkachuk fan but I understand how he impacts the game

Zub is a solid top-4 RHD, which is rare in the NHL

Chabot is just a supreme talent

No chance I'd do this

I'd do Josh Norris, Brady Tkachuk, Filip Gustavsson, Lassi Thomson, Ottawa 2nd in 2022 and Ottawa's 1st in 2023
