That definitely isn't enough for Bjorkstrand nor is he available and that Philly trade isn't something the Flames should do.

50% rental Giroux at TDL fetches a 1st, decent prospect, and maybe a roster player with some upside or a conditional 2nd/3rd. So Calgary's 2022 1st, Mackey/MEP, 2022 2nd (if Calgary advances to WCF for example)

Bjorkstrand wouldn't be on the market and his value would be around 2.5-3 1sts imo. Monahan is a good start to the trade. Add in Pelletier, a 2nd or 3rd, and maybe a player like Valimaki

The Giroux offer is in the ballpark, but Pitlick is an expiring UFA and offers little, so its Backlund (who's an expensive and rather mediocre add to the deal), a prospect and a 1st. Its close, but I think Pitlick and Backlund add almost a negative to the deal and Philly (if rebuilding) would get a better offer.
