I like the idea of adding Strome if we're still competing at the deadline. Right now we're 3 points behind Anaheim

I think it’s a fair deal for Edmonton but have reasons to doubt it being much of an option. From what I’ve been hearing about MAF doesn’t sound like the type of person to uproot his family or be away from them just to go on a run. From oilers perspective I’m not sure how willing I’d be to include a first in a rental trade this year because of how fast we see COVID still pulling people at random out of the line up. Seems like an oilers thing to happen just painting a target for COVID.

The edmonton trade probably would require a lavoie or something in that wheelhouse to reuly get the deal done but, the foundational pieces of the deal makes sense and fit in with what both teams are looking to do moving forward. Kubalik with leon would be a high upgrade over yamo.
