I think it’s funny how some people on this site will say Hertl, whose on pace for 46 goals this year, won’t get more than a first, and then there’s other people who will say Chiarot is worth a 1st and a 3rd. Not saying that’s you but man this site is has parody.

Good value except, Allen could get another 2nd or a prospect like lavoie or konovalov. To give koskinen edm has to add a 2nd. Lehky could get another 2nd and another 5th. He is 7th in selke race according to players' analytic stats. Overall pretty good

Hertl will probably get a first and a great prospect if not more. He would get a ton if he had term. And I honestly don't know how Chariot would get a 1st but that's what the market dictates then I'm happy.

I originally had a 2nd but I just put a 3rd since he's incredibly under rated due to the reason I put. And I'm not sure we could get a ton more for Allen since Hollands a goof. We could get a 2nd or a lot more. I just went with the safe option

Apparently they're in on him and Gorton used to work in Boston so who knows

I think a good fit for Allen would be pittsburgh. The trade would be: Allen 50% retained for poulin or Hallander, a 2nd and desmith. A few pens fans said it was a good deal

Chiarot might draw a first, but there would be guaranteed retention on him or else you can kiss any hope of drawing a first goodbye. Personally, I would not pay more than a second with half retention included for what would most likely be a bottom pairing shut down rental defenseman. Chiarot is good, but I don’t think he is truly worth a first, even with retention.

oilers pass easily

If they trade for a goalie it will be for a long term solution or younger goalie trending to be a number 1

Allen is neither

Agreed. If the goaltending solution is to add Allen, may as well just pack it in now. I'd rather waive Koskinen and give Skinner some games. Posted a 0.916sv% and 2.70GAA over his 10 games in the NHL this season and has a 0.925sv% and 1.96GAA in Bakersfield. Always going to be some hiccups with a young goalie but from what I've seen you give him a shot unless you're getting a true upgrade in net.

Allan isn't worth that much, taking Koskinen back at the deadline won't cost anything, Montreal will still need a goalie to play the rest of the season.

They don't need to bring back a goalie montembeault or primeau are doable

I’ve seen people have some absolute terrible Hertl trades. I think another guy in this same boat is Giroux. I saw a trade that was G at 50% for Erik Haula and a second

Not surprised it was from Boston lol that’s been most of the bad trades for Hertl. I think Giroux and Hertl will have very similar returns if they are moved.

Yeah I think Hertl will probably get more since he is younger but both are worth a first and a solid prospect or a second and an elite prospect
