In my opinion that's too much for Crawford. I think he's the most overrated goalie in the league, but that's just me.

I'm not sure of Crawford's NMC status. But if it was kinda iron clad, and Hawks went begging to him to allow a trade, I would think Crawford would have the leverage to say, "OK I'll agree to a trade but I don't want to weaken my new team. Trade will be for a 7th rounder only. Don't like it, cause the reason you'll trading is for cap space, that's the deal."

So I guess you can get the same return for player like Trever Lewis lol. Crawford is overrated the same way Bishop is overrated. This deal is aids for Philly.

Yeah cause a bottom six forward is a good comparison to a starting goalie lol. Maybe you should look at Crawford's playoff numbers...

You can bet if Bowman put Crow on the market teams would have interest. Crawford is without question one of the better goalies in the league and clutch to boot. Thing is he has a Limited NTC-NMC, so I'm unsure if he has a trade list or how that works. He has 3 years left on his contract at 6 per, so his contract is more than reasonable for what he provides. However Darling has been spectacular too, and I think he's earned an opportunity to start. I'm not sure if I'm as comfortable and confident as most Hawks fans with Darling starting, however from what I've see over the last 2-3 years I think it's an option. Of course the only reason to make such a trade would be for the cap space..

Make no mistake this wouldn't be a "cap dump" by any means.

I would expect if Crawford is moved the return would be something similar in value to what Vancouver got for Luongo.
