Krejci basically can’t come back at this point
Rangers decline
Risto stinks.
At this point i wouldn’t want to take steen out of the lineup.

Bennett wasn't worth a 2nd when he got dealt, but he fetched one. Everybody was saying CGY fleeced Florida at the time. Turns out CGY got fleeced.

I agree though, this ACGM is extremely biased

Bennett is the better player. I'm not really surprised and wouldn't compare the two.

The 2 can absolutely be compared. There is no way you can tell me 2-3 years ago you would rather have Bennett on your team than JD.

Right now, JD is running pretty much the same course Bennett was before he got dealt at the deadline. In-fact, JD has better totals than Bennett was at the time he got dealt, and he somehow fetched a 2nd. JD can easily fetch a 2nd.

If Kreijci won't come back Bruins still needs 2nd line center and i don't trust Haula to fill that spot.
I would like to see Ristolainen on a team who have good leadership and is a winning team.
Debrusk's trade value is 1st or 2nd

There is no argument for debrusk being worth a first.

Risto is just not good.

Sure, go after a center.

Tampa paid 1st and Nolan Foote (2019 1st) and acquired Coleman. So Debrusk could be worth 1st.

1. Coleman is better
2. Coleman had two year at 1.8M

You bringing up that as a comparison is weird.

I don't find it weird at all both players are 20-goal scorers. Coleman are little bit better i agree with that that's why Tampa paid two 1st rounders.

Contract.

And they didn’t pay two first rounders. It was one first rounder.

When he was drafted yes.

When he was traded he wasn’t a first rounder, he was Nolan Foote.

Who was drafted in first round. Same value than that 2020 First rounder

Maybe. Maybe not. Actually almost certainly not. A player drafted is usually a depreciating asset.

You gonna trade Zach Senyshyn and say, “well he’s a first rounder,” next? Of course not. You know how sometimes there are reaches in the draft? Like Senyshyn. Sweeney valued him more than other GMs so he took him higher up. A draft pick is a raw asset. It has objective worth. A prospect has subjective worth.

I honestly agree tbh. Just don't see DeBrusk having that much of an impact after being dealt because I simply don't feel he's that level of player or ever has been.

You can't get fleeced when one team can't extract a certain value out of a player than another team can

Yes, Senyshyn was worth 1st rounder in 2016. One year after the draft.

He wasn’t worth a first round pick eight seconds after he was drafted. That’s how long it took half the room to google who he was.

It's easy to say that 6,5 years after the draft.😂
