These deals don’t make sense. Firstly no one is giving that much for Price when he hasn’t played and no indication when he will play…..

But then you get Broberg in that trade and move him with Mailoux for a 30 year old dman with 5 years left??? We are rebuilding we need those prospects

He is absolutely not a top 2 goalie. Vasilevskiy, Hellebuyck, Shesterkin, Demko, Gibson, Markstrom, Saros, and probably others are all better at this point

One good playoff run and one above average season in the last 4 seasons. He’s no longer a top 2 goalie

He’s finished in the top 5 voting for the Vezina 1 time in the last 5 years. He isn’t a top 5 goalie and hasn’t been for a while.

Fowler just turned 30 and is signed for 4 more years at a cap hit of $6.5 million and a real cost of $26 million.
Gallagher turns 30 at the end of this season and is signed for 5 more years at a cap hit of $6.5 million and a real cost of $34 million.
Gallagher has 76 points over the last 3 seasons and Fowler 75, albeit in more games, but Gallagher's injury history must be factored into the risk of acquiring him.
Bourgault, Mailloux and two seconds don't really make up for the difference in value to us, inasmuch as we're pretty happy with the RWs we have.

It isn't. All of those Goalies are better. Look at literally any statistic. Price has played good in 1 of the last 4 regular seasons. The other 3 he was bad. And because of a cup run he's the best in the league again. Absolutely not.
