Description

Washington upgrades their goaltending in a separate trade and sheds Kempny's cap and moves Vanecek to do so.

Buffalo takes on Koskinen for the rest of the year so they have a healthy goalie, and can audition him for a backup/mentor role for countryman UPL next year.

Trade Barrie + Kassian in the summer.

I am still of the opinion that Washington should keep Vanecek even if they trade for a goalie. Whoever they trade for (and I still think they shouldn't) will only be in DC likely until the end of the season, where Washington is right back to square one, missing a backup goalie.
