Points aren't everything but in 101 games Laf has 22 goals 12 apples = 34 points in 101 games

Stutzle has 20 goals 30 assists in 92 games = 50 points in 92 games

Raymond has played 46 games in the NHL and has 11 goals 24 assits = 35 points in 46 games which is more points than Laf in more than half the number of games & he's on a rebuilding team

Imo, top 5 should be:
1) Lundell
2) Stutzle
3) Raymond
4) Drysdale
5) Laf/Byfield

But this is just based on current NHL impact

Until recently Laf was playing bottom 6 minutes and no PP time. He's second behind Kreider in even strength goals though and has only been in the top six for the past month. Stutzle and most other recent top 5 picks are playing for rebuilding teams where they get way more opportunity with more ice time, PP time, and playing with their teams' other top players. Laf is fine and is starting to be trusted more and as a result, becoming the player he was drafted to be.

So everyone better get their "Laf is a bust" talking points in now. He's already proving them wrong.

Thank you.

No prob Ranger bro. This time next year they'll all shut up about Laf, same way we've all gone silent on Jack Hughes when he proved not to be a bust after all. Book it!

Ye i like that take, he’s the complete package, does everything on the ice although i think Stutzle, Raymond and laf have more offensive upside lundell is the best all round player in the class, he’s gonna be a great 1 C in the future
