Rangers don’t consider for a second. We’re not trading Lindgren or Kakko. This trade is terrible for us. Lindgren would prolly be the best d man on this team other than Jones on his good days.

Easy no from the Pens. That's silly.

Edmonton isn't doing that. Fleury is not outperforming Koskinen this season, he's actually been worse by GSAx/60 (see link below). Besides, Holland has already stated that he's not trading a 1st for a rental.

It's funny how people view Kapanen on this board. He's on pace to about a 45 point season which is a very respectable point production in the NHL and basically consistently hovered around that point pace since his first full NHL season.

Is he frustrating? Yes and that's because the expectations were so much higher. Is he a poor fit on the Pens? Yes and no. He's a poor fit as a staple in the top-six, but as a middle-six winger he's producing exactly what he should.

What is a solid middle-six value? I'd say anywhere from a 3rd to a 2nd with a prospect. The value depends on production and intangibles. Kapanen may not be a great two-way player, but he's ok in that department and consistently a mid 40's point producer. IMO that's worth a 2nd and maybe a decent prospect.

What is the trade on this AGM? A solid middle-six winger PLUS a 2nd rounder for a pending UFA dman who's basically a shell of what he was since leaving the Islanders and a 3rd.

I get that most fans on here overvalue their own assets at times, but this is just a ridiculous trade. Chicago should realistically be adding a 2nd with no pick going the other way. NOT TO MENTION THE PENS HAVE FIVE LEFT-HANDED DMEN UNDER CONTRACT!

Dumoulin, Pettersson, Matheson, Riikola and POJ. So you're sending us something we don't even need and having us pay an ridiculous premium.

This person posting the AGM has a very odd sense of value.

Can't see pit or Washington doing those trades. Heavily favor the hawks.

The Boston trades are weird. Why not just do strome for debrusk?

The rangers trade is probably a little heavy too. Probably swap Lindgren with a lesser piece. But kakko is a must have.
