Boston is not trading Carlo. You want him, you offer up EP. Otherwise don’t ask. 5 years of Carlo for 1 of Miller and pair of dumps does nothing for Boston.

Retention doesn't really help with Boeser's contract. The worry is next season when his qualifying offer is worth $7.5M, not this season.
