I think Garland would fit well in NSH system. The second and third replenish some lost picks.
VAN is looking to make changes, and I think Garland is one of their bigger assets to trade (esp if they don't get what they want for Miller).
I do think that the offered prospects need to improve for this deal to work for them though.

That's fair. Preds might be willing to offer Parssinen instead of Novak if VAN wants potential over NHL readiness. On the D side, maybe Davies or Stastney.

But... Garland has 4 more years at $5M per, only has 10 goals on the season and is on the trade block in his first year of a new contract. His value isn't exactly sky high.

yeah, but VAN isn't using him properly either. He's averaging 16 min a night with minimal PP time.

I'd suggest sending Tolvanen over to VAN for him and working a deal around that (with other pieces involved).
