The only trade I think I would do here is the New Jersey one, but I don't think the Devils would go for it.

I’d consider that trade for oilers might need to alter it a bit but I’d be ok seeing something along those lines.

Oilers have no desire to pay Quick 4.3m and give up assets to acquire him.

I believe Devils would ask for defensive prospect or young player back if they were to trade Graves.

Not nearly enough for Graves (why would NJ retain and why would we ask them to?*); we aren't trading Quick; and little sense in exchanging Durzi for Whitecloud if the second isn't included, and if it is, Las Vegas would probably decline.

* We won't be signing Smith or Campbell.

It worked for the kings so well. I tried to justify it as part of vegas' escape from the cap situation but it's probably the biggest longshot deal made here.
