While I like the idea of Kane and think his play fits perfectly.. apparently he and Reaves don’t like each other/have beef and it likely isn’t an option. But with his $ and skill someone would pay that 1st if not more.

A top-4 d-man is more valuable to NJD, especially if he is signing $5m x 7 year extension.

Nugent-Hopkins and Kane both have NMCs, and my understanding is that RNH in particular has no reason to want to leave Edmonton.

The problem with this team is goaltending and defense. Aside from the Severson deal, you haven't done anything to address that realistically. (@TampaBayLightning22 is right -- nobody is going to even talk to Lindholm about less than $6 million, and Kuemper will get a better offer from Colorado.)

Yeah the rangers have Reaves. Look up him and Kane and say they can be on the same team. Plus, why would the rangers give a 1st when they could’ve signed him as well.
