These types of deals are why Edmonton is in the position they are in currently. A 3rd for Allen who only makes you marginally better. Manson for Lavoie and a 2nd who is a UFA this season. This will be hard to hear and even harder to do but in my opion this is the time for Edmonton to be patient with thier roster. If they have to make changes it should be in the offseason.
