You don’t dump a prospect for garbage cause there isn’t a clear lineup spot. Injuries can happen and he’d be needed. No reason to dump him.

rangers pass. just because there is "no room" doesn't mean you trade him for a player 1 that we cant afford to resign and 2 isn't worth it

Replace Kravtsov with Nemeth and the 3rd with Kulak maybe. Helps them re-sign Lehkonen and gives them a 3rd pairing option back.

Toffoli trade has us cap flush for next season already, and more players will likely be moved, so taking back a contract is more viable now.
