I'm not a Minnesota fan so I don't know what situation they are in.
But I doubt they trade Rossi for a rental, even if it's Giroux.

Yeah, Minnesota is probably looking to move defensive prospects, and definitely not moving Rossi for a rental, even if they are of Giroux's caliber which I know some people are super high on, some not so high, that's irrelevant to the point that if Minnesota were to be in on acquiring him or Pav or Miller or Hertl it probably comes out of their deep blue line prospect pool, not the kiddy pool of forwards, especially our new #1 now that Boldy would in most circles be considered graduated.

Without hesitation. Remove Frost, replace Rossi with someone like Lambos, O'Rouke, or Beckman

Exactly, I think they will be in the market for a rental just not for Rossi.

Minnesota isn't moving Rossi. It's also been made clear our gm isn't interested in rental, nor willing to part with 1st, or top prospects. So yeah, Minnesota says no. Adding frost does nothing
