I think if you want both Copp and Scheifele with retention on Scheifele, Kravstov would need to be replaced with a prospect that actually has value like Lundkvist maybe.

I think thats a poor assessment of Kravtsov. He feels that the organization did him wrong. However the talent is still plenty there, he had a good year in the KHL. To say he has no value is a bad take.

Scheifle would be nice with ret but he's not the same, that's a whole lot of important pieces to our puzzle. Both would be to much to fit. Chytil got 2x 2.3m Kakko will get 2x 2.4m.
Our magic Cap numbers to go by *Cap we have: 8m for 2 Cs/RWs or 9m for 3 Cs/RWs. Here you spent 9.1m for 2Cs (w Kakko @2.4m). Leaving us short 1m.

Okay, sure maybe like a 4th or lower as a project. But when the Jets are giving up two premium players, he doesn't add anything to the deal, value wise, for the Rangers and he doesn't offer Winnipeg anything they don't already have.

It doesn't matter that he thinks he's been wronged, the fact the he thinks he's entitled to a roster spot without working for it is a massive character red flag.

Let him come back North America and put in the effort to learn the NA game and establish some value, then he could be marketed. Until then, he's the Rangers headache and is nothing more than a throw in.
