I would hate to see Lafreniere in Montreal. If he played poorly, the fans and media would rip him to shreds. I think it’s best that he stays far away from Montreal. Also, I don’t see Montreal building around Montembeault for goalies.. maybe Primeau instead…

we are talking about the here and now and all of those top ten picks other then yak turned in to great players (broberg is on his way), and we didn't need have the depth players and the coach and the gm'ing to do anything, were as the NYR can't develop star forwards for the life of them and but they have the depth and gm'ing and the goaltending and plus all the college FA where if they were able to turn 2 top 2 picks in great players offensive they could do some damage in the playoffs but they are struggling at that.

Buddy, the NHL is littered with players NYR developed and didn't keep. We haven't had this level of prospect like 2 generations, so idk what all this hyperventilating is about. We're not worried. You have plenty to worry about.
