Description

Serevalli’s rumor of Boeser being the one that could get moved and NJD being interested on him. Zacha was a player that Canucks would be interested on getting back and other needs for Boeser to get moved would propably be a 1st and a young puck moving RHD. Walsh is 22 and is having a great year in the AHL atleast number wise when I took a look at his eliteprospects site. So is he someone who could make the deal done? It also helps that NJD pick is propably going to be a high to mid 1st rounder. I’ve also added Boqvist and a 4th in the deal as sweeteners.

The 22 is going to be really high. That’s like two prime assets. No way you’re getting 5 pieces also considering VAN wants to clear cap and is scared of B’s next contract.

Maybe Zacha + 22 1st + something small under that format.

But I don’t see the 22 in play. Maybe If it’s 1-1

This feels like a pretty big overpay considering Boeser's injury history and struggles this year. Mind you Boeser does have 18 points in the 22 games Boudreau has been in.

I think Zacha + Boqvist is a solid base, I just think a top 10 pick is far too much here

If the pick was top 10 protected its a fair trade imho, props to you for taking the feedback and making a good trade tho not many users on this site will listen and respect others like i found with our earlier interaction

for NJ to get Quinn Hughes would almost blow up all their assets to point where it's not worth it for them

Nah, Canucks are not going to sell low on anyone, there’s no need for that atm. Only player they’d propably move purely for cap reasons is Garland and that would take place in the off-season.

Zacha and Boqvist
From what I have read from Van fans is that while he can score he's not very fast and not a great skater. Apparently that's what Rutherford said last night in a 30 min press conf
Boqvist is very fast and it looks like he has maybe turned the corner recently. They have interest in Zacha so no need to discuss him. Walsh is our only rightie other than Edward's who is yrs off. And there is no way they are giving up a top 7 pick this or next yr.

Big overpay. Especially without extension agreed to. Would be something like;

Zacha + 2nd

….maybe add if contract extension is done before trade.
