Less than that. He's a pure depth D. Can't see him bringing that much more than for example Nemeth did in last year's deadline.

How about Ritchie plus a second for Braun 50% retained and Linus Sandin?

Braun is not a depth d. He can easily play in a top 4.

He has been playing top pair with Provorov all year... Although thats clearly not good enough lmao. Always tough to gauge these things. Could be 5 teams going after him which would probably reqire a 2nd+ or maybe he slips thru the cracks and you can get him for a 3rd or less

I think he is. Just due to injuries he's had an inflated role this year, but the best role for him is a depth, bottom-pair D-man.

They've used him to replace Ellis who's been injured all year.

Nah, Ritchie's contract suck and Ritchie himself swallows. Wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Just make it a third round pick for half retained Braun. Similar return to Mike Reilly who also played in an inflated role in OTT before being sent to BOS.

Sure. I just feel like someone might take Ritchie if a sweetener is added.

Kinda crazy to have Copp play on the second line and drop the equally competent Kerfoot to the fourth line. Trading away 1st rounders for a position that doesn't need additions just seems wasteful.

The lines could obviously be different. I would say Copp is way harder to play against. You could also make Copp/Kerfoot your 3rd line centre. Or just move one to the LW with Kampf and Kase.

The point is you're adding another good forward. Depth is alway key in the playoffs. This makes the team better.
