Yup. He was just a casualty of moving Ritchie. They might give him a look first, but he doesn't really bring anything to special teams or center. Regardless, they'll do it to accrue cap space (unless they have another move planned already).

yea they immediately put him on waivers. I have been following the team enough to know that was what Dubas was going to do. Our forward group is actually hard to upgrade and he was not an upgrade over anyone.

He planned to do the same thing with Adam "Brooks another plane ticket". They intend to run with a 21/22 man roster.

yes for sure. But Dubas tends to be super honest with his players. I am 100% confident he told Brooks and Dzingle what his plan was right away. Probably told them to hang on before jumping on a plane to Toronto. He is trying to load up on depth for the playoff for when the cap doesn't matter. Plus guys like that would help the Marlies with a championship run. Which is never a bad thing!
