Ah got ya, that's what I did too. I just meant that is he really overpaid then? He's a couple 100K more then those guys but over the past 4 years has higher point totals too....

He's about a .5ppg guy, $5 million for a guy who is going to put up 41 points a season is a bit steep. Granted, he has a good defensive game andI know he is a quality player but I think I'm just not ready to part with what you want got him yet. I'll probably circle back around to him at some point.

Well technically you've never made any counter offers either.......So.. 41 points is not his average based off of past 4 years. Its closer to 50......his rookie season is weighing him down.

Would you have any interest trading your two 2nd's this year and a 2018 7th (either one would work) for my 2017 CBJ 1st?

If your 1st was a bit higher up I would be interested but it's too low for me to give up both seconds.

Would you have any interest trading your two 2nd's this year and a 2018 7th (either one would work) for my 2017 CBJ 1st?

If your 1st was a bit higher up I would be interested but it's too low for me to give up both seconds.

                  Okie dokie, completely understand ??

What would you want in return for Janmark?

He's about a .5ppg guy, $5 million for a guy who is going to put up 41 points a season is a bit steep. Granted, he has a good defensive game andI know he is a quality player but I think I'm just not ready to part with what you want got him yet. I'll probably circle back around to him at some point.

Well technically you've never made any counter offers either.......So.. 41 points is not his average based off of past 4 years. Its closer to 50......his rookie season is weighing him down.

Is Reilly Smith for Brassard an option?

                  Possibly, if you added.

I just dug back into him and I really like him as a depth piece so unless it's a second I'm probably going to hold onto him.

Maybe a pick/prospect but if I acquire another center I'd be more open to moving new him. Having Helm as a 3C doesn't really excite me

Hmm OK well if you do, let me know. Just curious what would be your best offer right now to take Smith?
