Stop trading Kerfoot.

He's one of their most consistent performers. With reasonable paycheck, too.

Seems to be a very common thing for him to be moved as a cap casualty for lesser assets of lesser import...doesn't make much sense for a competing playoff team.

Toronto is very likely to face Tampa in the first round in the next playoffs. They need any help they can get, and Kerfoot was probably their best performer with Nylander in that playoff series against Habs last year.

You're not getting Hagel for that. Just because these guys play for the Marlies doesn't automatically mean they're NHLers on other teams. It's a pretty standard mistake not just to TOR fans, but other fan bases too. I've watch alot of Alex Steeves at Notre Dame. He's a fine player, but not what the Hawks are looking for. The CHI pundits are reporting that (4) teams have already offered a 1st and an A prospect...and the Hawks have turned them all down. None of the players in the Hawks trade are A prospects. It's arguable whether or not they're B prospects.
