Nashvilles Myers is 25 and makes less than half of what vancouvers 32 year old Myers make. Even if they were 100% equal on the ice (they aren’t but let’s pretend), Nashville wouldn’t be interested in trading a younger, more cost controlled player for an older one with a longer and much more expensive contract. Just doesn’t make sense from Nashville’s end. Same reason we constantly turn down petry offers on this site. Nothing personal, just doesn’t make sense for the direction of the team that has stated that they are working to get younger

I would do Kapanen for Hoglander, but I want no part of Dickinson or Poolman. Teddy is not getting moved.
