I don't think Hagel is worth that. A 1st + Amirov should be enough or throw in maybe a 4th as well; but I'm not a fan of the Hawks trading him. He's a more talented version of Shaw and will hit his prime in a few years when this team is competitive again.

While Hagel doesnt have 21 goals hes got a nice contract and 30 points rn.

I would honestly pay that as 1.5mill for a guy with the same points as kerfoot for 2mill less is worth it.

Plus Coleman was a UFA after his deal versus Hagel a RFA and Coleman was 5 years older than Hagel

mmm Coleman had another year left (1.5yrs) but yes Hagel has that extra year and youth to back him up.

Hagel is 23 years old, has 2 years left, then a RFA. Basically the owning team, owns the rights to Hagel's career....that's huge given his age!
