Next year with Boeser and Scheif

Description
Sacrificing Pionk and Lucius are tough pills to swallow, but maybe worth the extra fire power to become real contenders? The D may take a minute to figure out and adjust, but I'm confident in our prospect depth there. Of course, none of this matters if we don't fix our coaching.

Thoughts on line combos and D pairings? I think CSW still have enough pop to at least give them another look. 2nd line could be fire. Hopefully Perfetti can help Vesa reach his potential. 4th is a toss up, but i like Harkins' and Reichel's hustle.

No need for boeser that seems like too much for winnipeg to pay rather retool then mortgage our system for 1 guy as of now

The Boeser trade is really bad for the Jets. Aside from the huge overpay, giving up a really good top 4 defenseman for a winger that will never live up to that contract is poor asset management. The Jets need Pionk 1000x more than they need Boeser.

Value seems fine in the Avs trade, I'm not sure if Stastny would be their #1 choice as a TDL target though but this could be a decent backup option

Jets need a goal scorer (shouldn't of traded Laine FFS!!) but trading their best dman isn't the way to get one, that trade is a big overpay.

It's honestly insane how bad they are at scoring 5v5 this year. But yes, trading Pionk and 2 valuable assets to get Boeser wouldn't be the answer.

Pretty sure it's been an issue for years but yeah its particularly bad this year, honestly it doesn't surprise though, I've been beating the drum that the Jets offense is overrated for awhile now, I knew "fixing the defense" wasn't going to be enough to get this team to contender from pretender.

Every trade is good for both sides besides Vancouver. Pionk is one of our best defence men and one of our best prospect and 1st
