Copp & Stanley: Feels like an overpay by the Rangers. Copp would probably get a 2nd, so it is Stanley for Chytil and Gauthier which feels off.

Stastny & Beaulieu: That is essentially Stastny for Jost and a 3rd (conditional), as Beaulieu has minimal trade value. Not sure on that one.

Dillon: Florida says no to that deal.

Vesalainen: Jets need a cost controlled Vesalainen more than a 5th rounder who will not likely make the NHL.

Comrie: No need for the Jets to change the inexpensive backup G. Trading for an AHL defenseman isn’t a great idea.

He's been really good for the Jets, doubt I'd trade him for this to be honest, Tippett hasn't done much.

This defense is WAY too small, only one dman taller then 6' and not one over 200 lbs, no way that's going to work.

Seems like an overpay by the Rangers, doubt they'd do that.

No point in giving Vesalainen away for a 5th, he might figure it out yet and if he doesn't the odds of that pick amounting to anything are slim, better to just keep Vesalainen.

Not sure if Florida would do that but unless the Jets are getting a Dillon replacement I don't think he should be traded.

I can't see Colorado trading Jost. I hope we can get a 2nd for a retained Stastny and mostly hope he goes somewhere that he can win.

I don't see the point in the Comrie trade though I'd like to see Berdin get into some games.

COL isn’t removing a roster player and has zero interest possibly negative interest in Beaulieu. Adding him to a trade for Stastny woof.

I would hope to extract better value from one of our very best dman then Tippett who's looking more like a reclamation project then anything else and throwing a good pick in with Dillon is just terrible asset management.

dillon is not our best defencemen and we do not need him,we are out of a playoff spot and we need to retool, panthers want a dman coming into the trade deadline and tippit is on there trade block, tippit is still young and the jets could for sure turn him into a 20+ goal scorer he has lots of skill, jets have plenty of prospects to play for spots in dillons absence

I never said best, said one of our best, he's been one of the Jets top 3 dmen all season, the guy is solid and exactly what the Jets needed.

As I said in my original comment to this post this defense you have here is WAY too small, the Jets defense needs to get bigger not smaller.
