I agree with everything except for Toews. His contract is an anchor and we should take a decent offer if given one.

He’s going to be more useful to sell tix than actually rebuilding, also I think a decent offer is covered under “Right price”.

i think dach should be untouchable hes so young and bouwman ruined his confidence i believe hell pan out

I’m at this point, we shouldn’t be shopping him… but if a good offer comes up you have to think about it.

if were rebuilding i dont see an offer that comes through that is of value like i dont see us getting a high end prospect or high pick so i just dont think its smart

It doesn't have to take 3-5 years to rebuild this roster. If they trade the pending UFAs they have this season (Carpenter, Fleury, de Haan, as well as a couple pending RFAs (Strome, Kubalik), they'll obtain draft capital and free up plenty of cap space to add to the roster in the offseason. I rather they take the Pittsburgh approach. Kane is averaging over a point per game, DeBrincat is top 10 in goals, all on a bottom 10 team in the league. Find a top pair LD, a goalie tandem that can last 2-3 years while Commesso develops, and a top 6 RW. Fill in the remaining gaps and the team is fine, just stop making awful trades.

I must admit, I like Lafferty in the bottom 6. I would have his in the middle category. I also feel the same with Entwistle

I like Dach and can see him flourishing. I would have him as untouchable or massive overpay.

Ive also liked what I've seen from Regula and Galvas to have them in the big league next season to give them that development time.
