I agree that it's surprising to see this trade proposal coming from a canucks fan and not a habs fan but to say he's having a good year is not fair, he's in his D+1 year and only turn 19 in 5 month, if he were to be in this years draft he'd surely go top 20 in the draft

This trade sucks for the nucks, but Roy was drafted 1st OA in the Q and his stock mostly fell due to his mental play, which has been reported to be better now. He could very well be a steal of the draft

Boeser gets a far greater return, And try more like 8x8 for John Klingberg and 7x8 for Tomas Hertl neither are signing short term.
