Avs trade the more proven dman on a good contract as "cap relief" and get back an older fringe NHL dman AND a 4th round pick?
Seems like they should at least get a 3rd rounder out of that.

These might be some of the worst trades I have ever seen. Girard isn't a cap dump, he's and elite top pairing Dman. Kings certainty aren't trading Clarke or Turcotte for Chyrchrun and why would the Lightning trade picks to dump someone on LTIR. Seabrook doesn't count against the cap and the Yotes need that money to get to the floor

Turcotte, Walker and our 2022 first is a reasonable offer for Chychrun. In fact, some fellow Kings fans think it's too much.

Food for thought, Girard is younger than Mayo. Girard has played 328 career games Mayo 48. Girard has 143 career points Mayo 8. On what planet did you come up with a 4th rd pick is the difference between the 2, because I want to see what other wacky things exist in that world. This is like COL saying to EDM we will give you Jost and a 2nd for MacDavid at 50% retained because it gives you cap relief.
