Boeser's QO is wayyyyyy too high for Colorado. Hard pass.

Get ready for all the Avs fans to tell you how stupid you are and all their players are untouchable despite them not knowing anything either.

But seriously I don’t think Avs do that trade. Maybe for Miller but not Boeser

Id be very disappointed if Sakic did this. I just dont see why he would move Byram - when healthy he already has a bigger positive impact than Boeser does anyway

Please dont do any more parts of this as youre wasting your time, COL declines easy.
Byram is untouchable to VAN unless Hughes or Pettey is coming back the other way.

What are you on about? I listened to 32 thoughts. Friedman said the exact opposite about Byram. First off, it was regarding Miller. Second off he said he didn’t think the aves would entertain that notion.

Don’t just make stuff up.

Who said everybody was untouchable? Long term it’s 7guys the core MacK, Mikko, Landy (primarily because of the NMC) Newhook, Makar, Toews and Byram. Byram and Newhook are the only cost controlled high end assets in the NHL the Avs have. Their contracts paired with their ability is as much why the Avs aren’t going to move those guys period.

Even if COL were interested in Boeser does anybody think the Avs trade Byram for a guy that would be at best their 6th best forward and at worst the 8th best. That doesn’t get you young franchise dmen that gets you a 1st rd pick and a b prospect. If you don’t want it fine. Goodbye

No one tied byram in a trade. They said the Canucks are interested in him, so are 30 other teams

That doesn’t mean he’s available to be traded. People need to grasp the concept of what a team has interest actually means

Per Thomas Drance:

"In surfacing Byram’s name, we were hoping to illustrate the extent to which the Canucks were big-game hunting for young defenders on the trade market. We weren’t suggesting that a deal is imminent or that the Avalanche would even consider parting ways with the 20-year-old Cranbrook, B.C. native, who is on a very short list of the best blue line prospects to come out of Western Canada over the past decade."

Vancouver can ask. Colorado would almost certainly decline.

He absolutely is not untouchable beyond ignorant statement. I mean come on its just a thought his name wouldn't be out In the market or even discussed once for no reason. His situation is unfortunate but he is not untouchable no player is. Have fun losing in the second round again
