What would SJS asking price be for Nieto?

That seems like way too much for Middleton

4th would do it IMO.

since he is a top PK and decent depth piece i would guess a 4th but i would prefer to keep him, he’s a solid bottom 6 piece

yea i agree! but he is under team control been putting up solid offensive numbers for a defensive minded D guy with good metrics compared to his teammates.

That Middleton deal is a major reach.

If he had more term and TB didn't have the best LHD core in the league, you might have something, but this isn't going to work.

I like the rest of the moves though.

Like it all

Would hang onto Midds since no one will pay that price even though it's probably close to fair.

Personally Im not sure where Cogliano fits in the Leafs lineup, but I certainly could see Dubas making a trade like this. Not a bad idea. I think Nieto could be a similar move Dubas could make

Tampa is the one calling about the guy. If Ben Chiarot gets a first, then a younger, cheaper, better, rfa player should get this much. I think its crazy too, but thats what prices are these days.

Just like the goodrow deal, you would have never said they would pay a first for him but they did and it made sense going back
