Description
I think Mtl will end up with the 2nd/3rd/4th pick overall and its either going to be Savoie or Cooley. I also see them trading their 2 late first round picks for Connor Geekie as they need to get taller offensive wise.

These trades are only some ideas although they probably won't happen.

Trades
1.
MTL
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (STL)
NYR
  1. Allen, Jake
Additional Details:
With Georgiev who might be moved at the deadline or in the summer, I could see a fit for Allen in NY.
2.
MTL
  1. 2023 4th round pick (TBL)
TBL
  1. Armia, Joel ($1,700,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Even tho he doesn't have the best season, he the type of guy I could see Tampa call for. Perry and him were really good together last year especially in the playoffs.
3.
MTL
  1. 2022 1st round pick (NYR)
  2. 2022 4th round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
(don't necessarily think he'll end up with NYR, but they're my take with their 2022 1st round pick and probably the best pool of prospects). I know nobody likes/wants him but that's gonna be the price like it or not even if I agree its paying a lot for a rental/4th-5th defensman.
NYR
  1. Chiarot, Ben ($1,750,000 retained)
4.
MTL
  1. Helleson, Drew [Reserve List]
COL
  1. Lehkonen, Arturi
Additional Details:
I think Colorado could be a fit for Lehkonen as a good defensive foward that can still get some points. Type of depth you're looking for as a contender.
5.
MTL
Apparently, Buffalo are looking for a RHD to play with Power. Petry could be a fit there although he's probably not the type of mentor they're looking for. Just an idea here.

I think the Sabres would be interested in petry. His NTC would be the only issue.

Why would Petry waive for Buffalo? And for 3 x $4,500,000 Andrew Copp stays in Winnipeg.

Pretty sure Petry just want to get out of Mtl lol. And you're right for Copp, he was just an idea for a 2nd/3rd center.

Minimally Copp will get 5 x $5,000,000 if not closer to 5 x $5,500,000 he'll be heavily sought out on the open market.

Don't be so sure, there's crazy GMs out there. I bet he gets at least 5 x $5,000,000.

    You nailed it with Petry
He is NOT the right type of player to mentor Power
We’d be looking for a more defensive type

    Doubt it
We need someone who’s much more steady in his own end to pair with Power
    Petry isn’t that guy

what's an extension for lehkonen looking like for next season? Colorado will start to get cap tight over the next 2 years so a solid defensive forwards will be needed but it would pretty much have to be a team friendly deal
