Fiala and a partner for Sanderson

Created by: jet11567
Team: 2022-23 Ottawa Senators
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 15, 2022
Published: Mar. 15, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Playing stuzle on the wing sets up the rest of the lineup nicely. Grieg has a good chance of cracking the lineup. And I think one of JBD or Lassi get the 6th defensemen spot.

Wild decline that deal. Either include OTT 1st or the prospect included needs to be better.

1st (if its 7-10 range for obvious reasons) + 7th and Jarventie for Fiala.

Better to keep Zaitsev than signed Rutta at this contract.

I've lost a lot of braincells watching 2/3rds of our RHD make really... mess up decisions on the ice. Also, the perfect partner for Sanderson is Zub.

This doesn't get fiala. Wild aren't trading him for a d, especially one who won't even make the team needing a new pay day and Winger prospect whose not ready. Minnesota also has a top Winger prospect of Adam Beckman whose Minnesota very high on, so decline. Take out brannstom and add a 1st

The GM wants picks for taking on contracts he’s stated that in many interviews. As a yotes fan I take this all day it’s very similar to the Andrew Ladd trade last year. Maybe swap these with 2023 picks but either way they should do this. You listen to Elliot Friedman way to much he mentioned it once that Montreal “may” look the move Webers contract but I doubt the yotes do it I expect a similar off-season as the one they had last years. Strallman,Ghost and Ladd deals

That’s fair maybe I’m just hoping they have a repeat of last years off season because it was very successful IMO (especially the Ghost trade)

Zaitsev is reminiscent of Ceci in his last year in Ottawa , tough to watch. The Rutta deal is 2 years too long , I could be persuaded to vote 'yes' on 2 x 2.5mil . The one RD wild card next year ... and he comes with a lot of risk.... is Deangelo. The kid can play when he his head is on straight , he proved that this year. I would not offer him any more than 2 years but he could fit in Ottawa.

Deangelo will never play in canada but i agree he would be a good fit in ottawa.
