Not sure at all where Middleton would fit in the lineup. Reilly, Sandin, Muzzin, and even Dermot are on the left side. The Sandin experiment to the right side failed, and the Leafs shouldn't be using him there this season. Maybe this summer he practices at that position.

I love a fresh obsession, a player pretty much no one has heard of is suddenly worth a 2nd rounder.
Middleton is not worth a 2nd rounder let alone a 2nd +. The sharks are asking for that because they dont really need or want to move him so it is going to take a hilarious over payment to get him, much like chicago with Hagel.
You dont over pay for 26 year olds with not even half an NHL season under their belt
