I would imagine the Wild have no interest in Bertuzzi at that price. More wings are not what we need, and we won't be able to afford him after next year.

No Minnesota declines very quickly. We don't need A Winger, much less one who wants to get paid. We also have no need for a d who wouldn't play on our team. So no, we aren't trading one of our top C prospect, Calen addison, and 1st round pick for players who aren't needed. Trade Tyler elsewhere. You have the wrong team.

I doubt Minnesota has any interest in Bertuzzi - he is yet another winger. I can't see him cracking our 1st line (Kaprizov, Zuccarello), 2nd line (Foligno, Greenway, shutdown role) or the 3rd line (Fiala, Boldy)

Pass. Don't think Leddy fits the bill and the price is too high.

Noted on the Wild. Trying to aim for a contender in the Metro or Central (lower chance of playing a Canadian team in the playoffs). Who would be interested in Bertuzzi outside of the rumored Pittsburgh?

Part of that price is taking on Scandella's contract. Leddy went for a 2nd last year and I imagine the going price for a 2x.3.2 cap dump would be a 2nd-3rd round pick. But yea that trade is going to depend a lot on your evaluation of Leddy and Robertson,

Trying to base it a bit off the Mantha deal, and I imagine Bertuzzi has to be a little more valuable than Mantha was. Tried to offset the 2022 1st with a 2022 2nd so that it's more of a trade down from 20-30 to 50-60 than just a straight up 1st round pick. Pittsburgh doesn't have a lot of futures to offer outside draft picks.

Despite the constant caterwauling from Blues fans, Scandella is not a pure cap dump - as directly evidenced by you putting him in the line-up. He's a suitable 3rd pairing D-man and excellent on the PK.

Not many players are "pure" cap dumps, like how the Wings got a 2nd for Staal and still put him in the lineup. I'm a Wings and Blues fan and while Leddy may not be the missing piece for the Blues D, he's an upgrade over Scandella and provides more cap flexibility. I can understand the value being a little off, but structurally it can make sense for both teams.

also - that's not my starting lineup, probably would be Staal/Pettersson/Oesterle on the left side with Scandella as the 7th
