Should be McBain for Poehling, he's a Minnesota homeboy. Also, i think their value are pretty similar (3rd-4th line center).

MTL is not giving their 2nd (almost a 1st) for McBain.

No I don’t think Guerin benefit’s whatsoever by releasing that list so I highly doubt we ever will see it.

As it stands right now, Arizona holds 6 picks between 31 and 43. For a team destined to play in a 5000 seat arena for the next 3 years, it doesn’t seem unrealistic that they’d give up one of those picks for a guy they could probably slot into their lineup immediately. And if other teams, reportedly, are interested it will naturally drive up the price. It shouldn’t be that hard of a concept for hockey fans to grasp.

I agree with you but overpays at the deadline is all too common. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case when this trade finally hits the fan.
