Why does every Chicago fan hate Panarin? Is two season of over 0.9 P/G not good enough? I get wanting to lose seabrook.. but cmon, Panarin has the birghtest future of anyone on the hawks

thank you......granted this is the best Panarin trade I've seen on here. The guy is a stud, it's not easy to find/acquire guys with that talent

I think panarin is a great player, but So is pacioretty, and he comes at 1.5 million cheaper. if habs have a first round exit they could be looking to make a major shakeup to their core for the 2nd season in a row and they love their Russians. I think its a pretty balanced trade

Panarin isn't a playoff type player. He disappeared again this year. He had his chances. Couldn't bury them. End of period 1 clear cut break missed the net. Can't have it. He needs to bury his chances.

1.) No one hates Panarin. He simply doesn't have a NMC/NTC.
2.) His playoffs last year was brief, but a point per game exactly. He played well. So "again" is just a lie.
3.) About the trade...pretty decent. I'm admittedly bias but it is the 2nd year (out of 2) that Panarin out played Pac. The 1.5M helps, but they'd had to give us our pick back.

Nick, I get you confused with the other Nick, is this all based off 1 shot attempt? He played the boards well and NO ONE on that top 6 played well.

Panarin also has the benefit of getting to play with Kane. I think they're both 2 very close players, but if u feel Chicago should get an extra mid round pick due to higher point production, that's fair.

Its more so they need to trade him. thye need to get more cost effective and panarin is the best contract to trade. they'll get a decent return, clear substantial cap room. with players like Kane and Toews on this team, they can piece together rosters with young talent and cheaper free agents. this roster is not equipped to carry panarin @ 6 mill.

Classic emotional response to 4 playoff games from this year. With clearly NO recollection of how Panarin played last year in his first Stanley Cup playoffs.
