Why is everyone trading Chytil? Play him with NHL players.

If Montreal got Smilanic a unprotected first and a fifth round pick this won’t be enough for Anaheim. I expect nothing less then a bluechip prospect and a first goiing to Anaheim. Lindholm is a premium defender. Othmman, Lundkvist or Schneider need to be included in that deal.

Lindholm is a premium defender....but they're not going to be able to extend him- so you really can't justify this lowball package- let alone what you propose. NYR are NOT in the same position as FLA...so it makes no sense to part with BIG assets for 1 crack at the cup.

So that’s the reason why Anaheim should settle for that ****ty return? I get it that New york is maybe not reading to be true contender but if you want to acquire players like Lindholm you need to put the price. The team that trading players away won’t settle for less return because of your possible problem to resign a players or position your in. I am not the one who proposed that offer trade. Go talk to your fellow colleagues that made that proposal.

Easy joblow!! LOL
For sure, the Rangers CAP situation is not ANA's problem...in my point I was really just trying to point out why a trade for Lindholm doesn't make sense from the Ranger standpoint. I wasn't trying to push the package as indicated in this thread. ANA should absolutely extract as much value out of Lindholm that they can...and I'm sure that will involve a 1st plus much more...but for the Rangers to get involved any more than with intent to drive up his price would be very short sighted and foolish.
