Winnipeg is a logical choice with salary retention, but a first round pick from a year ago is not going to be the return, A b level prospect, and a mid pick maybe.

I don't get the whole toews to Winnipeg thing. You people put waaaaay too much stock in players wanting to play for their home team. Toews is insanely competitive. He'd want to go somewhere he has a shot to win cups. Not a team that's one more missed playoffs away from rebuilding.
