Wild decline. Brown only has one year left before he is UFA. We'd be in the same situation with him like we are in with Fiala, at the moment

If that were to be the contract Fiala would sign, Minnesota would sign him to it, they could easily find the cap space for that.

The "best case scenario" based off what I am seeing here is these teams just give you these players for free, well thats essentially what's happening, never mind.

Burger Van isn't GM anymore, they actually have a competent GM now. Fiala to Ottawa would be sick and I only imagine Giroux signs if the Cats win the cup

One extra year at 3.4m for Byron vs two extra years at 4.5m for Zaitsev. In no world is the difference between those two a top 5 pick LOL. You’d have to pay to dump Byron as it is, they’re not equal by any means but the difference is nowhere near a 1st.
