So what you are saying is in order to take on a dead contract they have to suffer by taking on a bad contract?

overpay for Petry, only way DAL should take that is if they think petry can be a good replacement for klingberg, which i personally dont see
and i'd edit your lines a bit

Caufield - Suzuki - Anderson
Pitlick - Dvorak - Hoffman
Ylonen - Evans - Gallagher
Byron - Poehling - Dauphin

Edmundson - Savard
Romanov - Barron
Harris - Wideman

Petry have had a bad year offensively but is advance stats and analytics suggest that he haven’t regressed. The biggest difference he had to face this year is that Shea Weber wasn’t there to take on defensive zone faceoff. Last couple of year he was mostly use on offensive attribution. If he is use properly again there some really good chance that is offensive number start to rise up again where he have established is standard. Martin St. Louis have started to use him more in that matters and it appear on the score sheet.

ARI WANT Weber’s contract because they are a poor franchise and Weber only cost 3M 1M 1M 1M in real money
So that’s valuable for them
