A lot of this of really bad for the Jets. The Dubois signing would be great, but other than that...

There's no reason for the Jets to trade Stanley for a 2nd round pick. It would take that pick at least 4 years to get to the level Stanley is at now.

No chance the Jets trade Schmidt and retain on him for a low end LD. The Jets have zero need for LD.

Winnipeg isn't trading a very good back up for an unneeded, low end left shot bottom 6 winger.

No one is giving a backup goalie a $5mil/yr 5 year deal.

I could see Jason Karmanos trading Ruotsalainen for Eric.
R2D2 probably could not crack the Buffalo line up with Cozens, Krebs, Thompson, Mittelstadt and Girgensons in the NHL now.
Good trade, nice thinking out side of the box.
