Anaheim accepts. "Keep Him" is a top prospect in our system, and it'd be hard to see him moved, but I'd do it...

In all seriousness though, yeah, you don't move Nylander unless you're getting a major piece back. Honestly reminds me of former Leafs players that were chastised by a certain group of Leafs players that wanted to get rid of them. Kessel? Kadri? I honestly don't see how you win a Nylander trade.

He is what he is by now. If you don't like that then move him.

Streaky player that needs to be sent to the 4th line every 10 games or so, and benched every 20. But when he is on he is on. The best I’ve seen him play is when he actually uses his body. He is deceivingly strong. Just needs to utilize that strength more. Gotta wonder if the guy has some mental illness battles the way he shuts down sometimes.

IMO Nylander this summer is well worth his 7m X 2 years contract. But I'm in the camp where he should be traded. Not that I dislike Nylander's value but if the Leafs can free up cap space to fill a few holes, It would be better for the Leafs for the next two years. Leafs seems to have "lots" of wingers some RFAs and ELCs which they think are NHLers who can somewhat compensate for the loss of Nylander

Thanks for this. Too many people are emotional on here. A player can go from great to terrible period by period. It's manic

I think the whole discussion around Nylander is because he is the only realistic moveable player with a big contract on the roster. Essentially, if a change is needed (if Toronto loses in the first round again) some big move would be expected, and Nylander would have to be on his way out in order for that to happen. Although he is a great player who brings a lot to the team, so I don't think Dubas would see it as an easy decision.
