Seider, Hronek, Lindstrom on RD for Detroit. Yzerman isn't paying an aging defenseman making over 6 mil to play on the 3rd D pair. Habs should be able to trade Petry. Detroit just isn't a match.

It is not that Petry is bad or I do not like him, but he does not fit rebuild, and that contract is a problem. Yes, Wings have cap, but need to invest in at least 2 LHD and a goalie. Plus over the next 3 years they need to resign or extend, Larkin, Bertuzzi, Seider, Raymond. So no this the answer for at least two reasons.

And the poster how said Ummm Yes, is the reason Wings fans on this site are becoming annoyed at Hab fans. It is you total lack of respect and your bloated arrogance. It started with Mantha and has carried on to dumping Petry.
