As usual for this series of posts. The Scheifele trade is a disaster for Winnipeg that would get Chevy fired.

Even if Chiarelli was the Jets GM he'd turn down that Scheifele trade.

At most Detroit gives up a 3rd for Schmidt there are other options.

Detroit is pretty much dialled in at a 3rd round pick for a LD whoever it turns out to be. As noticed by previous poster, there are a few to choose from.
