That's not massive. It's just a step up from what Zaitsev got. Some team is bound to outbid that.

Haha yeah. He doesn’t provide enough offence to ask for the Parayko contract . Brandon Carlo is a good comparable but Zub has some UFA years on him . So a bit more around 5 is good I think

Just think that 5,8 x 6 will keep him around. Lindell got that and he's not going anywhere lol

And i think you have a tendency to overrate senators players a bit. But hey, you’re miles ahead of leafs fans who overrate their players in one sentence, and then try to tell you why they won’t be paid with the next.

Top 4 defensive RDs are way too hard to come by. Especially in a league where almost every team has a high level two way/offensive LD that needs a guy like that. Zub will get somewhere between 5-6M IMO.
