Holy that Bruins trade is terrible. UFAs would rather sign in sunny cities more than snowy ones too lol

I just told my Bruins buddy about the trade he said hell no. I on the other hand, as a Jets fan would say hell yeah.

I got a better idea for Boston -- THEY sign Trocheck to that deal, and keep DeBrusk, Carlo, Lysell and the 2022 first.

Two really bad UFA contracts.

The Jets don't do any of the Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Dallas, Carolina deals.

Jersey and the Jets pass on that deal.

Too much from Boston on that deal, but Carlo would be a good piece to build around.

Just imagine Carlo, Pionk, and Demelo on the right side... I agree with your assessment, but man, can I dream.

I wouldn't want to live in Winnipeg, many of people have told me that they have the worst potholes in Canada

Boston is definitely pretty close deal wise I think people are overrating Carlo who’s pretty average all around just a big body

Well, the report was that he signed his extension to remove the QO concern from trade talks.

They definitely wouldn’t do this trade though. I don’t think they’re trading him anymore, but the contract definitely doesn’t have anything to do with that. There’s an argument to be made that it made a trade more likely.

This is a brutal take at every level. Prior to acquiring lindholm, he was their number 2D. This trade is miles away. It’s kind of to the point where it doesn’t stand a chance because boston has a GM and a president. Maybe one human could be that ridiculously stupid, but before accepting the trade, Neely would fire Sweeney.

Winnipeg and other teams "unfavourable" teams, having a better chance of signing UFAs, since so many teams are near the cap. But many east coast natives...both Canadians and Americans, wouldn't have the Winnipeg on their list.
Also your trades aren't practical....Rangers. Wings, and Devils would rather just sign UFAs rather than giving up assets for those high priced Jets.

They signed him so it would make it easier to trade him. Teams would rather have certainly than RFA who might not wanna sign with their team.
